The Jazz Visions series continues with another event featuring top names in national and international jazz.

Giletta S.p.A., a leader in the production and marketing of winter road maintenance equipment, has always supported Jazz Visions. For the 2013 edition, they have once again brought a prestigious event to their production spaces in Revello (CN).

The Giletta brothers, CEOs of Giletta S.p.A., are the visionaries behind this project. They aim to bring music to unconventional spaces and invite the public to experience an artistic event alongside industrial structures that, for one day, will become a scenic backdrop and stage.

The factory, a place of industrial creation, intellectual ingenuity, and passion, will transform into a concert hall, hosting the third unmissable and high-quality event of the series: the Luigi Martinale Trio plus Fabrizio Bosso.

Listening to Fabrizio Bosso is a unique experience, renewed with each performance: energy, musicality, creativity, and impressive technical control are the hallmarks of his art and the result of extraordinary communicative ability. The trio of Luigi Martinale, featuring Reuben Rogers—one of the most sought-after double bassists on the current New York scene—and the elegant drumming of Paolo Franciscone, has just released their new album “Strange Days” on the Japanese market.

The shared stylistic vision of these four musicians will be enhanced by the unique setting of Officine Giletta, transformed once again with visionary foresight into a concert hall.

Photographers and videographers from the Click&Jazz and Video&Jazz groups, along with installations by artist Davide Pesce, will be present.

His musical training followed two paths: classical music and Afro-American music. He focuses the expressive aspect of his work on both piano performance and composition and arrangement, as evidenced by his numerous recordings. Over time, he has had the chance to work closely with the best musicians in the jazz scene: Wynton Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Joshua Redman, Marcus Roberts, Nicholas Payton, Mulgrew Miller, Jackie McLean, Phil Woods.

Notable is his long tenure with singer Dianne Reeves, a star of Afro-American vocal jazz, with whom he has performed on extensive world tours and recorded three CDs, one of which, “A Little Moonlight,” won a Grammy Award.
