Everything is ready at Rimini Fiera for the opening of the international trade show, a leader in gelato, pastry, and artisanal baking. The 37th Sigep will also host the simultaneous RHEX Rimini Horeca Expo.

The 2016 food made in Italy kicks off with its sweetest side. The grand global exhibition of artisanal confections will celebrate the Italian tradition in gelato, pastry, and baking, alongside the RHEX Rimini Horeca Expo, an event dedicated to hospitality and out-of-home dining trends, starting Saturday, January 23, and ending on January 27, 2016.

“SIGEP and RHEX,” comments business unit director Patrizia Cecchi, “enhance the market, beyond brands, by offering operators a comprehensive proposal that spans the entire sector and supports and anticipates the evolution of sales points. On the exhibition front, another high-profile edition is on the horizon with increased demand from companies and the presence of world-leading brands. The entire venue is fully occupied, and major international events, authentic shows that traditionally highlight the world’s leading artisanal confectionery schools and their masters, will be added.”

The entire Rimini Fiera district will be occupied by the companies featuring in SIGEP and RHEX Rimini Horeca Expo. In total, there will be 113,000 square meters of exhibition space with over 1,000 exhibitors.
