Les
Hivernales proposent cette année encore une semaine de spectacles et de stages
pour tous publics, des programmes vidéo, des rencontres, des expositions et les
Hiverôclites une scène ouverte aux jeunes compagnies. L’emblématique festival de
danse donne cette année l’occasion de s’interroger sur les danses urbaines :
influences, transmission, enjeux… Au total, les 25 compagnies invitées
présenteront 37 représentations dont 12 créations… Les artistes annoncés : Ezio
Schiavulli, Hamid El Kabouss, Koen De Preter, Mourad Merzouki, Brahim

Les
Hivernales means an entire week of performances and classes for all ages and all
types of publics. Les Hivernales is also a week of video programmes, meetings,
encounters and discussions, exhibitions, and the multifarious Hiverôclites which
is an open stage for young dance companies. This year’s Hivernales festival
looks at urban dances and investigates their influences, transmission,
challenges, and the stakes involved … In all, there are 25 guest companies and
37 performances which include 12 creations publicly performed for the very first
time in Avignon … Among the dancers and choreographers present this year: Ezio
